Loknath Sahu, a silver trader from Khamarpalli village under Ganjam district’s Jagannath Prasad block and Buguda police station, has been hit by a pistol, according to sources. Three people stopped him near Nimpadar under Buguda police station, one with a pistol in his head while the other slapped Loknath and threw him down. According to Loknath’s written complaint, Section 394 of the Buguda Police Station Case No. 287/20 has been filed under Section 25 of the IPC and the Arms Act. A team led by IIC Buguda Chittaranjan Behera, with sub-inspectors Manoj Kumar Nayak, Tuna Nayak and Karthik Nayak and the police force, arrested three accused persons named Praveen Nayak, Tuna Nayak and Tukuna Swain, along with a local made pistol, live ammunition, 3kg 200gm silver jewelery , 2 bikes, 2 mobile phones and a knife have been seized, I.I.C Chittaranjan Behera informed
