Manoj Kumar Raut, (48) son of the late Abhimanyu Raut, a former chairman of Bhanjanagar NAC, also known as -Bap Bhaina- has passed away . Manoj’s health was deteriorating last month and he was having difficulty breathing. His oxygen level was checked and his antigen was tested.
He was rushed to the Ashwani Kovad Hospital in Berhampur for treatment, but eventually died. His death cast a shadow of mourning over the entire region. In a mournful atmosphere, cremation was performed on his own land, not in the cemetery.

Many intellectuals, including Jitendra Kumar Arukh, Prashant Kumar Nayak, Sualpani Shatapathi, Eng. Santosh Kumar Gaud, Gopal Mohapatra, Babula Subuddhi, Basant Kumar Pradhan, have expressed deep grief and prayed for Jagannath to help the bereaved family.
